hanoi, ha long bay, and ho chi minh city aka saigon
vietnam really surprised my parents and i. in contrast to china, which we visit after, vietnam is incredibly clean and sanitary, as seen in their public restrooms and their outdoor food stalls. despite not have a common language to communicate in, the people there were very friendly, except for the first time we used the grab taxi app we didnt realize we needed to pay with cash. then the guy was frustrated, but reasonably so. speaking of the grab taxi, $
