Nhi, a local woman from Vietnam takes me and my friend Corey to Hoa Khanh Market – the Da Nang market that 99% of tourists don’t see.
Located 30 minutes away from the touristy area in Da Nang, this local market is one of the cheapest places in the entire city and almost no tourists go there because it’s so far from the center.
We try different weird Vietnamese foods like red rice, sweet soup, and the smelly ”king of fruits” – durian.
Nhi and other locals share about what daily life is really like in Da Nang. This hidden local market shows the real side of Vietnam that most visitors never experience.
