Hanoi Travel Vlog: Wrong Turns, Amazing Vietnamese food & Pure Chaos is exactly what it sounds like, a full-blown adventure through the heart (and gut) of Vietnam’s capital. From sipping egg coffee at a quiet café to ending the night in a bubbling hotpot haze, this day took us everywhere, planned or not.
We started off strong with Hanoi’s famous egg coffee before getting hilariously lost on a ciclo ride (note to self: trust your instincts, not the guy with the whistle). One wrong turn led us straight onto Long Bien Bridge, surrounded by honking bikes and sheer panic. Then, somehow, we ended up on Banana Island, which was more “why is there so much trash” than “tropical oasis.”
But Hanoi always knows how to redeem itself. We hit up the iconic Train Street, melted into massage chairs, and devoured Bun Cha at the legendary Obama spot, which was hands-down the best meal of the day. Polite & Co gave us craft cocktails with vintage flair, and Zon Quan’s hotpot closed things out with steamy perfection.
This Hanoi travel vlog highlights are: Egg coffee at the famous Cafe Giang, a chaotic ciclo ride, Long Bien Bridge mishap, gritty moments on Banana Island, the thrill of Train Street, a much-needed massage, lunch at this iconic Vietnamese lunch spot called Bun Cha (where Obama once ate), and an epic hotpot dinner in Hanoi’s underrated food scene.
