DAY THIRTY-ONE of my cycling adventure which is a 3000km bicycle ride cycling from Pattaya in Thailand through Cambodia to Hanoi in northern Vietnam.

EPIC 3000KM CYCLING ADVENTURE: THAILAND, CAMBODIA, VIETNAM.

Join me on a once-in-a-lifetime cycling adventure across Southeast Asia as I pedal over 3000 kilometers from Pattaya, Thailand, through the heart of Cambodia, all the way to Hanoi, Vietnam. This incredible bicycle journey is filled with breathtaking landscapes, rich cultures, friendly locals, and the ultimate test of endurance on two wheels.

Starting in the vibrant beach city of Pattaya, Thailand, I set off fully loaded for a long-distance ride that would take me through bustling cities, remote villages, and stunning natural scenery. From Thai coastal roads to inland routes and main roads packed with adventure, this ride offered a true glimpse into life in Southeast Asia.

Crossing the border into Cambodia, I navigated through busy highways and rural backroads surrounded by rice fields and the warm hospitality of the Khmer people. Cycling in Cambodia was a true highlight, challenging yet incredibly rewarding.

Next, I entered Vietnam from the southern region and continued north, experiencing the unique charm of cities like Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Nha Trang, Da Nang, and the beautiful ancient town of Hoi An. The route became more mountainous as I rode through the Hai Van Pass, with jaw-dropping coastal views and winding climbs.

As I pushed north toward Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, the journey became even more dramatic. From misty mountains to terraced rice paddies to endless golden beaches, the northern Vietnamese landscape offered some of the most scenic cycling of the entire trip.

This ride wasn’t just about distance—it was about discovery, endurance, and cultural immersion. Along the way, I stayed in motels, met fellow locals, and embraced the unpredictability of life on the road. I faced extreme heat, rainstorms, bicycle issues, and tough climbs—but every pedal stroke was worth it.

What to Expect: This YouTube series documents the highs and lows of my journey riding my bicycle from Pattaya to Hanoi. Including cycling footage, dramatic shots, border crossings, food adventures, local markets, temples, roadside encounters, and personal reflections from the road.
