This video shows the city of Nha Trang. Urban meets coastal charm. First impressions: lively, scenic, energetic yet chill. Great for everyone. Perfect city walk for visuals—oceanfront, markets, and daily life all in one.

I very much appreciate you watching again ❤️ Did you enjoy the walk in Nha Trang? “Stay champ”!
The last time I was in Nha Trang was in early 2020. It’s beautiful, and we visited the Temple near a bridge—I think it’s Ponagar. We also hopped on a speed boat to see the rocks in the middle of the bay. Took photos of the bamboo bridge and capping the trip with a Vietnamese snacs of tropical fruits.
Great opening shot, and as always, I enjoy your walking tours. And always nice when you stop to have a word with the locals. Great mix.
I love your video. But do you have a hygiene filter? Unfortunately, youtube has no smells, textures, and temperatures.
lack of garbage and well-maintained sidewalks already puts it above most vietnamese cities in my book. lack of english can also be a plus i.e. opportunity to learn vietnamese. did you notice a sea breeze even a couple blocks from the water? temperature several degrees lower than HCM?
I will take your Nha Trang over the Danang any day. It’s smaller than the but the grocery stores, the supermarket and malls are better than Danang and the beach are prettier too. if you go north of nha trang it’s a whole new experience.
im living nhatrang now~~~~~would you like beer?
Thanks for the insight Chai and in perspective of your last time there in 2011.
I’m looking forward to going back to Vietnam. Our last trip was focused on Da Nang, Hue and Hoi An — haven’t decided if our next trip will be in the north or south yet. Nha Trang looks interesting.
Yeah, Nha Trang has changed a lot. My first visit was 2007 when it still had that small town/village feel. Most foreigner tourists were Australian/European backpackers. Lots of snorkeling/scuba diving tours out in the bay to explore the fish/corals before they were dead. Second visit was a short stop in 2018 to relax and enjoy the mud baths. The third visit was last summer 2024, amazed by all the new changes with high rises and wide streets lined up with shiny shops, restaurants, clubs etc. BTW, you can find the same residential alleys in Da Nang too. You just need to get out of that expat-filled An Thuong area, and follow Google map. We walked through several alleys like that on our way to Da Nang train station. As a matter of fact, you’ll find ‘em alleys in all major Vietnamese cities – Da Lat, Hanoi, Saigon etc. Same feel. We love to explore them.
