Love D4!
A lot of Vietnamese count their age starting at conception and that’s why the guy says he’s 50 which is about 9 months older by western counting.
We stayed in an air BnB in a big building just over the walking bridge into D4. Weren’t allowed to use the pool, though. The big water tower is cool. Loved the area and all the interesting things. Some great local eating places.
Matt, I enjoyed the video. I was in Vietnam for 23 days (in March 2025)from Ho Chi Minh to Ha Giang and I never once felt unsafe. The Vietnamese have always been the friendliest people in the world.
How did you manage to book an ebike into town? Be nice to go electric after all the Grab rides I’ve had. You must be a fair distance from Saigon being over 20ks out. Hopefully the airquality is better where you are. Think I’ve been to a large seafood dedicated street in D4. Might be worth featuring if you haven’t already covered.
Hello Matt , what’s the weather like end of April beginning of May ? Thanks
Looks like you went full “hangry” again and prioritised food over simulated warfare. Can’t say I blame you! Shame about the silent cannons though, sounds like you missed some prime boom-boom action.
