Every place has pros & cons. But for my older digital nomad vibe, I prefer Nha Trang. For one, it’s SO MUCH quieter. At 1/3rd the size, the roads & sidewalks are less jammed & intense. Less good, Nha Trang has fewer nomad cafes (but a few: Cafe Here, Karavan, & my fav Seagull Coffee). The biggest draw back is the beach/waves. Da Nang’s beach is special – soothing & watchable. Nha Trang’s is solid but not spectacular. Weather wise, some nomads prefer Nha Trang being 4° warmer, over Da Nang’s cold rainy months. My plan is Nha Trang Nov, Dec, Jan. Then Da Nang Feb & Mar.
Who is dumb enough to retire somewhere you have to get a visa every three months? DUH!
