インドシナ半島の東にある南北に長い国ベトナム。
その首都ハノイは人口700万人を超える活気に満ちた街です。
旧市街の中央にある「タヒエン通り」は通称ビア・ストリートと呼ばれるハノイ屈指の歓楽街です。
日が沈むころから通りにある店が一斉にオープン。
路上に小さな机と椅子が並び始めると西洋からの観光客や地元の若者が集まり、夜遅くまで人混みでごった返します。
タヒエン通りを見物した後、閉店作業中の「ナイトマーケット」を通過、週末の夜の喧騒を楽しんできました。
Vietnam is a long country in the east of the Indochina Peninsula.
Its capital, Hanoi, is a vibrant city with a population of over 7 million.
“Ta Hien Street” in the center of the Old Quarter is one of Hanoi’s leading entertainment districts, commonly known as Beer Street.
From the time the sun sets, the shops on the street open all at once.
As small desks and chairs begin to line the streets, tourists from the West and young locals gather, bustling late into the night.
After visiting Ta Hien Street, we passed the “Night Market” which is being closed and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the weekend night.
